Answer:

a(n-3)+8=bn

Step 1: Add -bn to both sides.

an−3a+8+−bn=bn+−bn

an−bn−3a+8=0

Step 2: Add 3a to both sides.

an−bn−3a+8+3a=0+3a

an−bn+8=3a

Step 3: Add -8 to both sides.

an−bn+8+−8=3a+−8

an−bn=3a−8

Step 4: Factor out variable n.

n(a−b)=3a−8

Step 5: Divide both sides by a-b.

n(a−b)

a−b

=3a−8/a−b

n=3a−8/a−b

Answer:

n=3a−8/a-b
