Yes, we have to agree, because it is true.

From a population of n individuals.

Imagine a population of only four people, name each 1, 2, 3 and 4.

You migh have any sample of 1 individuals (four samples), 2 individuals (six samples), 3 individuals (four samples) and 4 individuals (one sample).

You see that even a small sample can have more than one sample associated with it.
