The triangle KLM can be drawn as,

The value of tan L and cosK can be determined as,

[tex]\begin{gathered} \tan L=\frac{KM}{ML} \\ =\frac{45}{28} \\ =1.6 \\ \cos K=\frac{KM}{KL} \\ =\frac{45}{53} \\ =0.85 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Thus, the required value of tanL is 1.6 and cosK is 0.85.
