what are the next two terms in the pattern 3,6,5,10,9,18,17

The pattern is multiply by 2, subtract 1.

So from 18 to 17 you just subtracted 1, so now you multiply by 2.
17*2 = 34.

You just multiplied, can you figure out what to do next??
