To solve for A, we just have to isolate A on one side of the equation, like this:

[tex]BA+C=D \\ (BA+C)-C=(D)-C \\ BA=D-C \\ (BA)/B=(D-C)/B \\ A= \frac{D-C}{B} [/tex]

The answer is A=(D-C)/B.

Hope this helps!

BA + C = D

Subtract C on both sides

BA + C - C = D - C

BA = D - C

Divide B on both sides

[tex] \frac{BA}{B} =\frac{D-C}{B}\\\\\ \boxed{\bf{A =\frac{D-C}{B}}}[/tex]
